Revel Partners is pleased to have acted as financial adviser to SBP Kredit in connection with its first securitisation transaction.
SBP Kredit has entered into a three-year securitisation framework agreement with a Nordic bank. Under the agreement, qualifying loans will be transferred on an ongoing basis to a dedicated special purpose vehicle within the SBP group, in accordance with the EU Securitisation Regulation. The framework has a total capacity of SEK 1 billion, with the first transfers expected during the fourth quarter of 2026.
The transaction meaningfully strengthens SBP Kredit’s funding capacity and lowers its cost of funding. It provides a scalable financing platform to support continued growth in lending to Swedish property owners and developers, while offering attractive risk-adjusted returns to investors in the fund.
The transaction represents an important milestone for SBP Kredit as it accesses the securitisation market for the first time. It also demonstrates how securitisation can provide specialist lenders with diversified, efficient and scalable funding to support their core lending activities.
Revel Partners is proud to have supported SBP Kredit throughout the structuring and execution of this important transaction.
Congratulations to the SBP Kredit team on this achievement.
